I often find myself picking leaves and flowers from the roadside and forests. Each of my shelved books holds numerous such findings, drying between its pages. On occasion, I sit down and assemble the little petals and leaves into the colleges you see here. They are both precious to me but easy to part with because I know next year I will gather even more presable flowers and leaves and repeat this very thrilling process!
